Occasional Bad Breath
Mild cases of temporary bad breath are almost always brought on by the foods you eat and the state of you oral hygiene. Some of the most common causes of temporary bad breath are:
- Lack of oral hygiene. Not brushing and flossing is the easiest way to get a case of bed breath. As the bacteria in your mouth grows, it becomes odiferous.
- Imbalances in the body can also cause bad breath. Stress, drugs and smoking, even a lack of water or improper nutrition can be the cause.
- The most common cause is likely food. Garlic and onions are a common source of bad breath, but there are other more surprising foods that can cause temporary problem. Sugary foods, including alcohol can leave sugar in your mouth, perfect food for growing bacteria.
- Another dietary source of bad breath is consuming more protein than your body can process.
